How it works

You subscribe once on StatusBird. The PositionBird account, with ShopBird and RevenueBird in it, follows your email.

  1. Subscribe on StatusBird

    Check out with a card. StatusBird Uptime moves to the Business plan the moment Stripe confirms.

  2. PositionBird is granted

    StatusBird tells PositionBird to open a Growth plan for the same email address, paid through the same date as your Suite term.

  3. Sign in to PositionBird

    Create or sign in to your account at positionbird.io with that email. Growth, ShopBird and RevenueBird are waiting, no second checkout.

  4. Renew or cancel in one place

    Every renewal extends all four. If you cancel, PositionBird drops back to its free plan at the end of the term.

Common questions about the Suite plan

What is the StatusBird Suite plan?

The Suite plan is StatusBird's bundle of all four Birds: StatusBird Uptime on the Business plan plus PositionBird Growth, which includes ShopBird and RevenueBird. It costs $79 a month or $399 every 6 months, on one invoice, under one email.

Are these four separate apps?

Four products, two sign-ins. StatusBird Uptime is one app at statusbird.io. PositionBird is the other, at positionbird.io, and ShopBird and RevenueBird are built into it, so there is nothing extra to install.

Do I need a Shopify store?

No. StatusBird monitors any storefront, and PositionBird reads your catalogue from your website. If you do run Shopify, both apps also connect to it for order data and revenue attribution.

I installed StatusBird from the Shopify App Store. Can I get the Suite plan?

The Suite plan is billed by card through Stripe, so it is for accounts created on the website. If your StatusBird billing runs through Shopify, contact us and we will set it up for you.

What email do I use for PositionBird?

The same one you use for StatusBird. The PositionBird grant is keyed to that address. If you already have a PositionBird account on a different email, contact us before you subscribe and we will move the grant.

I already have a paid PositionBird plan. What happens?

A PositionBird account with its own Stripe subscription keeps that subscription; the Suite grant does not override it. Cancel the PositionBird subscription first, then the Growth grant applies at the start of your next PositionBird billing period.

What is in Business that is not in Pro?

Business adds the money tools: live dollars lost during an outage, a revenue impact calculator, the SLA credit claim generator, a customer communications pack, Shopify revenue integration and a personalised Stack Risk Report.

Can I switch between monthly and 6-month billing?

Yes. Open Billing on StatusBird and use Manage subscription to change the term. The change takes effect at the next renewal, and PositionBird's paid-through date updates with it.
